Berlin-based death metal band BELLIGERENCE will release their sophomore EP “Liturgies Of The Vile Ones” on CD, MC and vinyl via Lycanthropic Chants on 29th May 2026! Pre-order has started and all formats are available from our shop. Advance single “Self-Mutilation Adjured” streaming everywhere now!

“Liturgies Of The Vile Ones” delivers five punishing tracks that take the band’s sonic blend of technical precision, relentless speed, and groove-driven brutality, to the next level.

Drawing from influences such as BEHEMOTH, MORBID ANGEL and DECAPITATED, the youngsters in BELLIGERENCE combine old school brutality with modern elements, creating their own distinct sound. Blistering blast-driven passages synergise with dense groove-based hooks, as well as blackened atmospheric touches, creating a dynamic soundscape of destruction.
Formed in late 2022, BELLIGERENCE have quickly established themselves within Berlin’s extreme metal scene. The band have shared stages with acts such as CARNAL TOMB, TERATOMA, SIJJIN, MAMMOTH GRINDER, WILT, ENGULFED and NECROT, having played shows across Germany including Skullcrusher Festival in Freiburg, as well as an independently organised DIY Germany Tour in 2025.
“Liturgies Of The Vile Ones” was recorded, mixed and mastered at LTMF Studios in Berlin. The EP marks the band’s most ambitious material to date.

“Liturgies Of The Vile Ones” will be released via Lycanthropic Chants on the 29.05.2026 and will be featured on an EP release show in Berlin (13.06.2026), as well various European stages throughout the year (tba).
